Ways to teach the common with core with public media

This article is explainging how much flexibility and creative ways the teachers are  given to  teach students critical skills for the 21st century.The teachers were given four central components of CCSS for English-Language Arts and Literacy in History/Social studies, Science and technical subjects,and examples of how KQWD media can be used to address them.1 is the Emphasis on informational text 2. The focus on argument 3. The push for media literacy 4. Encouraging online collaboration and exchange of ideas.
